For Removal of Mats: Insert blades behind mat. Use a gentle, up and down sawing motion to break mat into smaller mats. Use a slicker brush and comb to remove the smaller mats.
For Removal of Undercoat: For use on undercoat of thick-coated or double-coated dogs, insert teeth into coat and drag blades in the direction of hair growth until blades catch in the undercoat. Using a teasing motion, pull upwards to lift the undercoat.
